For an active electrical problem

Tell us what stopped working, when it began and whether a breaker is tripping. For a business, include the site contact and access hours. For storm damage, stay away from wires and damaged equipment; call 911 and the utility first.

Already sent a request? Choose “I would like information” and include your earlier FPE reference below. You can also reply to your receipt email.

Prefer to talk? Call (508) 496-2653.

All fields are required unless marked optional. For a future site without an address, write “Not assigned yet”.

Choose a service, describe the job, then add the property and your contact details.

1 Tell us about the job

For wiring work, tell us whether walls are open or finished. For an inspection, choose meter, panel, both, or the whole system. See inspection options.

3 How can Francisco reach you?

At least one is required: a valid phone number or email address. Add an email to receive your request number and next steps.

Following up? Include your earlier request number and explain what changed in your message. This sends a new message for Francisco to review; it does not automatically change or cancel an appointment.

Review your details before sending

This preview has not been sent. Check your contact details and the photos above, then press Send.

Prefer email or a copied message?

The email option opens your mail app. You still need to press Send there and attach photos yourself.

Your request is saved only after you press Send and see a reference number. For urgent issues, call Francisco; for active danger, call 911 and the utility.

Your contact details and photos are used to respond to your electrical request. We also count request submissions and phone-button taps by page to improve the website; a tap does not tell us whether a call connected. Please leave payment details and sensitive tenant records out of the form.

How does a scope-based flat-rate estimate work?

The estimate is based on the proposed work, equipment, access and existing conditions—not a published hourly rate. An early estimate is preliminary and subject to Francisco’s review. Some jobs need an onsite assessment before a reliable scope and price can be confirmed. Ask what is included and agree on the work and price before authorizing it.

What if the job changes or an unexpected condition is found?

An initial description or photo cannot reveal every hidden condition. If the scope changes, ask Francisco to explain the finding and confirm any revised work and price before authorizing the additional work. An online estimate is not a guarantee that unseen wiring or equipment is suitable.

How should I prepare for an electrical visit?

Have the address and unit, an authorized onsite contact, and any equipment models or plans ready. Arrange access to the work area and panel, and move belongings out of the way when safe. For tenants or businesses, coordinate entry permission and operating hours. Do not remove panel covers or approach damaged equipment to take photos.

Will my power need to be turned off?

Some work requires a circuit or a wider part of the property to be de-energized. The affected area and duration depend on the job. Tell Francisco beforehand about medical equipment, refrigeration, pumps, servers or other equipment that cannot simply lose power, so the interruption and any backup needs can be discussed.

How are permits and inspections coordinated?

The proposed electrical scope is reviewed against the applicable permit and inspection requirements with the local Inspector of Wires. Confirm who is filing the permit, requesting inspections and covering related fees as part of your proposal. FPE’s condition review or Power-Ready Assessment does not replace municipal approval. Read Massachusetts consumer guidance ↗.

Does submitting this form book an appointment?

No. The reference number confirms your request was saved, not that a price, arrival time or appointment is confirmed. Francisco needs to review the scope and agree on the arrangements with you. Call directly for time-sensitive availability; the form does not dispatch emergency help.

What payment methods does FPE accept?

FPE accepts cash, Zelle, in-person tap to pay, PayPal and Bitcoin (BTC). Contact Francisco for the payment instructions for your job. Do not enter card, bank or wallet details in the request form or Ask FPE.

When is my deposit due?

Deposits are due at least one week (7 days) before the scheduled job start. Confirm the required deposit amount and payment instructions with Francisco. For work arranged with less than one week of lead time, contact Francisco to confirm the arrangements.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice incur a fee; the amount is decided by the job. Contact Francisco at (508) 496-2653 or reply to your receipt email with your FPE reference. Ask FPE cannot cancel or reschedule an appointment.

What workmanship warranty does FPE provide?

FPE provides a one-year workmanship warranty, with coverage specified for each job. Confirm your job’s coverage and terms with Francisco in writing. Product and manufacturer warranties are separate from the workmanship warranty.
